In terms of fiscal and reputational assurance, the existing tools available to CEOs and Board members are few and their application weak. Companies and organizations that are EthicsAssurance’s target clientele would want to have a values-based software-supported assurance system that helps management identify, assess and prevent problems before they occur.
To date reputation management is an indirect science where errors are clear largely in hindsight. This EthicsAssurance product is a new, values-based risk management knowledge software tool that addresses all aspects of corporate responsibility, governance, ethics, reputation management, compliance analysis, and integrity.
To date, there are few management tools or mechanisms that provide insight into such vulnerabilities. Existing compliance reporting isn’t broad enough and current risk management tools neither address values-based considerations nor incorporate independent benchmarking. Having CEOs and CFOs attest to a company’s books are not the answer. Nor will whistle blower programs work if there is no follow-up mechanism or if the employee may not be aware of the significance of a current practice.
